Witch path

The Legends and Fairy Tales of the Schwarzsee-Senseland are still loved and read by children and grown-ups. They are catching and mysterious.

What could be real in those stories? You can find it out through 7 legends that you can discover with fun and adventure around the black lake! The Legends are called: The hiding place of Gold, the black cow, the conspiracy of the snakes, how the black lake was born, the knight of the night, the witches secret, the "Muggi".

Opened:	The witch path is open in the summer season from May to October.
Tourist office:	Mon - Fri 8am - 12am / 1pm - 5pm (Sat until 4pm) On Sunday and at other times, you can go the the reception of the hotel Hostellerie am Schwarzsee.
Timing:	The hiking duration is approx. 2 hours which can be more depending on the amount of time you wil spend at each of the 7 posts.
Description of the path:	The witch path takes you around the black lake with a little detour to the waterfall. The path around the lake can be takes on both ways. The path is mostly flat, with a few light uphills. The path is suitable for prams and wheelchairs except for the part between the "Hutätä" and the "Ankenhexe" which is 5 min. walking distance.

Get you a witch set
With the witch set you will have even more fun on the witch path. For example, there is a word that you need to find out and you may be able to win a nice price if you are lucky.
There is also a drink and snacks in the bag as well as usefull tools for the witch path. You can buy the witch set at the tourist office as well as at the hotel Hostellerie am Schwarzsee.
